This page explains the website data ELVN handles, why optional analytics exists and how you can change your choice.

Who operates this site

ELVN operates elvn.monster as an open technology company website. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to elvnask [at] gmail [dot] com.

Necessary storage

The site stores one first-party consent cookie after you make a choice. It records whether optional analytics is allowed, the consent format version and the time the choice was saved. It is required to remember that choice and expires after 180 days.

Optional analytics

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are disabled by default. Their scripts are not requested until you accept analytics. Advertising consent remains denied. ELVN does not install Google Tag Manager and does not enable Google Signals or advertising personalization through this implementation.

When allowed, analytics can process page paths, basic device and browser information, approximate location, interaction data and pseudonymous identifiers. Page URLs sent by ELVN exclude query strings. Do not include personal information in URLs.

Cookies used by this implementation

CookieCategoryPurposeDuration
elvn_consentNecessaryRemembers your analytics choice.180 days
_gaAnalyticsDistinguishes users after analytics is accepted.Up to 2 years
_ga_<container-id>AnalyticsPersists Google Analytics session state.Up to 2 years
_clckAnalyticsPersists a Clarity site identifier and preferences.Up to 1 year
_clskAnalyticsConnects Clarity page views into one session.Up to 1 day

Analytics cookie lifetimes are provider defaults and can be shortened by browser limits or provider settings. Microsoft services may also use cookies on Microsoft domains after consent; those cannot be removed directly by this site.

Changing or withdrawing consent

Use “Privacy settings” in the footer at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent sends denied consent signals, removes first-party analytics cookies accessible to this site and reloads the page so optional analytics stops. A browser or provider may retain data already processed before withdrawal.

Technical server logs

The web server creates technical access and error logs for security, reliability and incident investigation. These may include an IP address, request time, requested path, response status, referrer and browser user-agent. The production server rotates these logs daily and keeps up to 14 daily rotations before older rotations are removed by configuration.

Retention and providers

The consent choice is retained for 180 days. Server logs follow the rotation period described above. Google Analytics retention is controlled in the GA property, and Microsoft Clarity retention varies by data type and service settings. ELVN does not state an unverified account-level setting here.

Read the Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Your requests

You may ask about data associated with your visit, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern by emailing elvnask [at] gmail [dot] com. Do not send passwords, private keys, wallet seed phrases or other secrets.
